DeSales Students Participate in Elections

DeSales Catholic School students took part in school wide election as part of their Social Studies curriculum. This mock election promotes civic responsibility and involvement by introducing and educating the students on the voting process. DeSales students in preschool and kindergarten through grade 8 had the opportunity to vote on an upcoming lunch choice (tacos or pancakes) and for an upcoming dress down day (silly hats or goofy socks). DeSales teacher Linda Crofts coordinated the school wide voting and her third grade students helped tally the votes.

DeSales is a regional Catholic school teaching students of all faiths from pre-school through eighth grade.  Located on Chestnut Ridge Road in Lockport, DeSales welcomes families from throughout Eastern Niagara and Orleans counties.  For more information visit www.desalescatholicschool.org
