Donation Keeps Students Learning All Summer

Lockport NY-   The Knights of Columbus #319 made a donation to DeSales Catholic School to help keep students learning all summer long. On June 8th, members of the local Knights visited the catholic elementary school to present a check for $500. This donation was used to purchase Summer Bridge Books for DeSales students in kindergarten through second grade. These books will help keep students on track for the upcoming school year through fun and engaging activities. DeSales Principal, Karen Rahill commented on the gift; “We are so grateful to the Knights of Columbus for this thoughtful donation that will allow our students to continue learning throughout the summer months.”

DeSales is Eastern Niagara County’s only Catholic School, serving families of all faiths in Pre School through Eighth grade.  For more information call Kim Knuutila at         433-6422 or visit www.desalescatholicschool.org
