JV Knights Open Season with a Win

JV Boys Baseball Highlights

The DeSales Knights JV baseball team opened with a 2-1 win against St. Mark's on Wednesday evening. Pitching on both sides was strong with DeSales being led by Matt Flatau (double) and Cole Meller fanning 4 each. Anthony Ruberto struck out 2 in the 5th and caught a fly ball while Nolan Smith struck out the side in the 6th for the save. Anthony Rongo had two hits and both rbi's while Henry Murphy chipped in with a single and Hunter Lilley reached base on both at bats.
