DeSales Students Participate in Elections

DeSales Catholic School students took part in school wide election as part of their Social Studies curriculum. This mock election promotes civic responsibility and involvement by introducing and educating the students on the voting process. DeSales students in preschool and kindergarten through grade 8 had the opportunity to vote on an upcoming dress out of uniform day (either teachers dress like students and students dress like teachers or comfy clothes). DeSales teacher, Ms. Jessica Scirto coordinated the school wide voting efforts and her third- grade students will act as Poll Workers responsible for tallying the votes.  Results for this year’s DeSales election will be announced on Wednesday morning.
