School Instructional Hours 2009-2010
Kindergarten - Grade Eight:
8:20 a.m. - 2:50 p.m.
(Students
are not permitted in classrooms before 8:00 a.m.)
PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS:
Pre Kindergarten - 4 yr. old: 5 DAYS (Monday – Friday)
Full Day: 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
or
Extended: Full Day + Childcare through 5:00 pm
Montessori Pre-School Multi-ages 3-5 (Monday - Friday)
Morning only: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
or
Full Day: 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (for ages 4 and 5 only)
or
Extended: Full Day + Childcare through 5:00 pm
Pre Kindergarten - 4 yr. old: 3 DAYS (Wednesday – Friday)
8:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Preschool - 3 yr. old : 2 DAYS (Monday - Tuesday)

and After School Child Care
The Lockport
YMCA provides before- and after-school care at DeSales
Catholic School for students in grades K through 6. Both full
and part time rates are available. Care is provided before
school from 6:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. and after school from 2:50
p.m. - 6:00 p.m.. Care is also available during school holidays
and conference days. Fees and registration information can
be obtained by calling the
YMCA at 434-8887.
