DeSales
offers a hot lunch and breakfast each school day as part of the
Federal School Lunch Program. Free, reduced cost and full price
meals are offered. Those seeking a free or reduced cost meal
must fill out an application which can be obtained in the school's
Main office, and is also sent home with students on the first
day of school. Lunches may be purchased on a daily, weekly,
or monthly basis.
All meals are prepared
in the DeSales Cafeteria under the supervision of our cook,
Mrs. Rosemary Calhoon. Meals and portions are planned to comply
with government standards for fat and sugar content. Special
dietary needs can be accomodated. Breakfast
and Lunch menus are provided monthly. Milk and ice cream
are available daily. Extra milk and entree portions may also
be purchased.
If a child forgets
to bring his/her lunch from home, a nutritious lunch will always be provided.
Please call 433-6422 by 9:00 AM to notify the school office
if we will need to provide your child with lunch for the day.
