Welcome to DeSales Catholic School!
On our web site you can learn about our school, our academic programs, school calendar, daily announcements, Newsletters, sports programs, extracurricular activities, and our faculty and staff.
We are a school of over 400 students from PreK3 - grade 8. Our teachers are committed to providing every child with the best Christian Catholic Education we can give them. Our class sizes are optimal for student learning and achievement, and we get to know all of our children as individuals. Our faculty expects the best from our students, and we are proud of their efforts and accomplishments. DeSales Catholic School students perform very well academically, excelling on New York State Assessments. We offer a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate curriculum. Our students can accelerate and earn high school credits while in Middle School. They can earn membership in the National Junior Honor Society. DeSales graduates continue on and find great success at some of Western New York's finest Public and Catholic High Schools.
Our sports teams are competitive in their respective leagues. Our swim team boasts a team membership of over 90 swimmers and has been the pride of the DeSales community. In addition we offer a variety of extracurricular activities for all students. For example there is music, chorus, Odyssey Of The Mind, and several other clubs. Students are involved in the Saint Francis Society, a community service student organization. Our school produces a Broadway-style musical each year with more than 80 students in grades 4 - 8 participating on the cast and crew. The show is performed at the Historic Palace Theater and is acknowledged as an event for the entire Lockport community to enjoy.
