Two teams enter, one team leaves. Actually, both teams entered and left the Koessler Athletic Center on the Canisius College Campus, but the DeSales Knights walked out of the pool as undefeated with a win over previously unbeaten Christ the King. With the win, the Knights also claimed the Neumann Swim League Division II championship in the process with a meet score of 138-111.

In the 8 and under division was again lead by William Swartz who won the 25 freestyle and Henry Genewick in the 50 freestyle.

The 9-10 division closed out the season as undefeated in the age group. Both relays scored first place finishes again with the medley relay made up of Elizabeth Kershaw, Gracie Cordle, Natalie Killion, and Elizabeth Swartz and the free relay scored a win with Henry Murphy teaming up with Swartz, Killion and Cordle. In individual competition, Murphy was 1st in the 100 IM, Swartz in the 50 freestyle, Killion in 50 fly, Kershaw in 50 backstroke, and Cordle in 50 breaststroke.

The 11 and older division followed suit of the 9-10 division and also went undefeated in Division II competition for their age group. The elder group scored 1st place finishes also in each age group with Mark Crocker, Sam Murphy, Bianca Franco, and William Rahill winning the medley relay and Delaney Adams teaming up with Murphy, Crocker and Franco to win the free relay. In individual competition; Murphy won the 50 freestyle in stellar fashion, Franco in the butterfly, Crocker in the 100 freestyle, and Adams in the 50 breast.

Stepping up big to help the Knights remain undefeated this past season were Ava Achtyl, Isabella Watson, Olivia Rongo, Jillian Knuutila, Sophia Goyette, Anthony Rongo, Luke Genewick, Cole Smith, Chris Goyette, Trent Smith, and Reagan Lilley. Sometimes it is the quiet kids that have the biggest hearts.

With this win out of the way, the Knights now focus on the Neumann League Championship which takes place at UB this coming Sunday where individual champions will be crowned and top relays will be awarded.
