DeSales swim Knights win at Buffalo State College

The DeSales Knights Swim team competed this past Sunday at the Kissinger Natatorium located on the campus of Buffalo State College.  The Knights scored a win over Nardin Academy with a combined score of 146-95.  In the win, the Knights had 22 all star times in the Neumann League.

 The 8 and under division had a first place finish in the 100 Medley Relay with Sophia Goyette, Olivia Rongo, Henry Genewick, and William Swartz.  In individual swims, Swartz won both the 25 and 50 freestyle and Rongo won the 25 breaststroke.

The 9-10 division had wins in both the 200 Medley and Free Relay with the quartet of Gracie Cordle, Elizabeth Kershaw, Aidan Morgan and Elizabeth Swartz.  The age group swept all the individual races for the Knights.  Swartz won the 100 IM, Natalie Killion won the 50 freestyle, Morgan the 50 butterfly, Anthony Rongo won the 100 freestyle, Kershaw the 50 backstroke, and Cordle the 50 breaststroke.

 The 11 and over age group also swept the relays winning both the 200 Medley and Free with Ashleigh Cottrell, Delaney Adams, Bianca Franco, and Mark Crocker.  In individual swims, Crocker won the 50 butterfly, Cottrell the 50 backstroke, and Adams in the 50 breaststroke.

 The Knights next swim St Mary's of Lancaster/St John the Baptist on October 4th at the Kissinger Natatorium.
